In June 2019 I started my MA with Falmouth university as part of an accredited education programme.

I wrote a whole post here about week 8 and the peer to peer webinar about our online work in progress gallery but it all got lost …. so I am leaving it at this. We had a wonderful webinar with 10/11 of the cohort managing to make it, and we managed to discuss lots of different areas to do with the course and assignments. Feedback on my WIP gallery was really positive, but I had managed to do most of the tweaking I wanted to do prior to the webinar. I managed to create the documentary story feel I wanted to portray with the images by having the images set up in a grid. I also added in single words or brief text underneath each image, as a way of conveying the learning outcomes being captured in each image, be that educational, emotional, or physical , as a way to help the viewer have a better understanding of the context of my images , I wrote more about this on my last blog post here …. http://www.bambino-art.co.uk/ma-week-8-exploring-context/. The last thing this new layout did was it fixed the issues I had been having about continuity. I wanted to make the images work well as a gallery, but keep them true to their original concept of either colour or black and white when I took them. To do this I have each thumbnail as a black and white image, and then, when you enlarge each image, it will be either black and white or colour depending on which it was meant to be.
