Fastbackwards Friday { week one }

“Fastbackwards! fastbackwards!” …. It’s a word we hear often in our house. For some reason the word rewind never really caught on over here, and fastbackwards is so much more jolly isn’t it:)and so here it is, my first ‘fastbackwards friday’ …

My VERY FIRST baby wearing adventure with my littleO ! May 2011 after a beautiful family photoshoot with a family of 8 in Trebarwith strand, Cornwall, Me , Jay and the kiddies went on what was meant to be a gentle cliff top stroll and ended up being one of the longest costal path walks we’ve ever done (which admittedly isn’t that big a pool to select from:)) not to mention we ended up scaling up a lot of it on our hands and knees, not easy with a 10month old on your front I can tell you ! To be honest, I can’t even remember why I had the carrier with me, as I never used to use it as I tried both this wow oui one, and a hotsling with amelia, but couldn’t get along with either of them. Thank goodness we did though, as there is no way I would of made it round all those cliffs without it. Quite a few hours later we found ourselves knackered and covered in dirt, I was terrified of the cows, eventually we managed to find a pub for sunday lunch that had just stopped serving … and then we took the road back to where we came from …. it took us about 30 minuets lol:)

It was such an amazing and beautiful and hilarious day and memory. However, never scrabbling up the cliffs on my hands and knees with oska on me, did I ever think I would still be carrying him around for cuddles 4 years later…. what a fabulous tradition of slingy cliff top walks it started !
