AS WELL AS HOME ED’ING THE KIDS, MATT RUNS A LOCAL FORAGING BUSINESS, TAKING CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND ADULT GROUPS OUT AROUND CORNWALL TEACHING THEM ALL ABOUT FORAGING LOCALLY AND THEN COOKING MEALS WITH THEM. IT WAS AMAZING TO SEE HIS WORK PERMEATE INTO THE CHILDRENS LIVES AND HOME, WITH ALL THE FLOWERS, AND HERBS, AND THOSE HUMONGOUS MUSHROOMS, I’D NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT !
THIS PHOTOSHOOT WAS A BIT DIFFERENT, IN THAT I WASN’T ACTUALLY GOING TO DO IT AS I WAS ABSOLUTELY EXHAUSTED BY THE TIME IT GOT TO THIS, MY LAST PHOTOSHOOT OF THE MODULE, AND REALLY FELT I NEEDED TO STOP. HOWEVER, WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD, BUT IN AN EVEN MORE RELAXED WAY THAN I HAD BEEN DOING THE OTHERS, WE CONCENTRATED ON JUST PHOTOGRAPHING IN THE ONE ROOM, SO I DIDN’T HAVE TO RUN AROUND AFTER THE KIDS, AND MOSTLY JUST CHATTED LOAS, LEARNING ABOUT THE GIRLS , THEIR LIVES, THEIR LIKES, AND DISLIKES, AND HEARING ALL ABOUT THE NATURE AND SCIENCE GROUPS THAT JADE RUNS, AND MATT’S FORAGING EXPEDITIONS (HE’S SUPER FAMOUS ALL OVER THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ADORABLE S !)
GIVEN THE LOW LIGHT, AND NOT REALLY MOVING AROUND I WAS HAPPY WITH THE IMAGES WE GOT, AND WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK ON A LIGHT BRIGHT DAY, WHEN I AM FEELING MORE HUMAN, AND LESS DEPLETED, TO CAPTURE SOME MORE OF THESE AMAZING, AND FUNNY GIRLS, AND THEIR BEAUTIFUL WARM AND WELCOMING HOME.
