ABOVE : I FOUND I DIDN’T GET MANY WIDE SHOTS OF THE FAMILY FROM THIS ANGLE, AND ACTUALLY QUITE LIKED IT. THE EXPOSURE WASN’T GOOD ENOUGH ON THIS IMAGE THOUGH.
H80A1988
I LIKED THE VARYING LEVELS OF ENGAGEMENT AND MANY THINGS GOING ON IN THIS PHOTOGRAPH.
SHOULD OF SHOT WITH A SMALLER APERTURE FOR A WIDER DEPTH OF FIELD THOUGH REALLY.H80A2005
H80A2028
ABOVE : I LOVE THE CONCENTRATION IN ADELES EYES IN THIS ONE. THE FAMILY USE THE SUZUKI METHOD OF LEARNING THE VIOLIN WHICH INVOLVES DAILY PRACTICE WITH YOUR PARENT, AND PARENTS THEN ATTEND THE LESSON WITH THE CHILD LEARNING VIOLIN EITHER AT THE SAME TIME, OR AHEAD OF THE CHILD BEFORE LESSONS COMMENCE, SO DAILY VIOLIN PRACTICE IS A LARGE PART OF THEIR DAY.H80A2069H80A2076H80A2105BELOW : I REALLY LOVED THE LIGHT AND THE LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT IN THIS SHOT, AND THE WAY ADELE IS COCOONING THE CHILDREN.
H80A2165
BELOW : THE COTTAGE WAS VERY DARK IN PLACEs, AND SUPER BRIGHT IN OTHERS. WHICH MADE FOR SOME BEAUTIFUL ATMOSPHERIC SHOTS. THIS HAS BEEN A RUNNING THEME AT MY PHOTOSHOOTS THIS MODULE SOMETHING I HAVE USED TO MY ADVANTAGE TO CONVEY A CERTAIN MEANING, OR TO SYMBOLISE ,MY OWN THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS AROUND OUR OWN PERSONAL HOME EDUCATING JOURNEY.H80A2194
BELOW : I LOVE THIS SHOT. THE CONCENTRATION AND THE REFLECTION, AND AGAIN LIGHT AND SHADOW ARE BEAUTIFUL SYMBOLS AND METAPHORS.
H80A2214BELOW : I FOUND A FEW THIGS INTERESTING ABOUT THIS SHOT. THE WAY THAT THE GIRLS ARE PARTAKING IN AN ACTIVITY THAT IS UAUALLY SINGULAR AND DONE ALONE, I THINK IS A BEAUTIFUL THING. I FOUND THE POCKETS OF LIGHT IN THIS ROOM CAPTIVATING, AND THE CAT JUST PUTS A BOW ON IT FOR ME.
H80A2238ADELE DOES DAILY READ OUT LOUD FOR THE CHILDREN WHILST THEY LISTEN AND DO ACTIVITIES SUCH AS COLOURING, KNITTING, CRAFTS ETC
H80A2269BELOW : I REALLY LOVED THE SHADOWS AND LIGHT IN THIS IMAGE, ILLUMINATING AND HIGHLIGHTING  THE CONCENTRATION THAT WAS GOING INTO THE KNITTING.H80A2290H80A2297
H80A2313H80A2334BELOW : THIS SHOT WAS ALL A BIT DREAMY REALLY. THE GIRLS CONGRAGATED ON THEIR OWN BUT I HAD TO OPEN THE DOORS TO BE ABLE TO GET BACK ENOUGH TO CAPTURE THE SHOT. THERES SO MUCH GOING ON AND HAPPENING IN THIS SHOT, THAT IT MAKES FOR A GREAT REPRESENTATION OF WHAT REAL, UNSTAGED, HOMEEDUCATION LOOKS LIKE, AND MULTIFACETED AND MULTILAYERED WAY CHILDREN LEARN.H80A2337H80A2357
ABOVE : I FOUND THE SHOT ABOVE BEAUTIFUL, BUT THE SHOT BELOW : SPOKE MORE TO ME. I CAN’T QUITE PUT MY FINGER ON WHY. IT HELPS THAT THE LIGHT IS BEAUTIFUL, AND SO SPOT ON YOU CAN SEE THE DUST FLYING OFF THE WOOL.
H80A2398
BELOW : I WAS DRAWN TO THIS IMAGE FOR THE FUN AND EXCITEMENT IN HER EYES, AND THE SENSE OF ACHEIVEMENT, A BIG THING IN THE HOME EDUCATED CHILDRENS LIVES. IT’S NOT GREAT EXPOSURE OR FOCUS FOR THE FACE THOUGH SADLY.
H80A2420
BELOW : AGAIN I NEED TO WORK ON MY FSTOPS HERE AND ASJUST MORE QUICKLY. BUT EVEN THOUGH IT DOESNT SEEM IT FROM THIS IMAGE PERHAPS, IT WAS QUITE A DARK ROOM IN AREAS, AND WORKING SOLEY WITH NATURAL LIGHT, ALL IT TAKES IS ONE ROGUE COLOUD OVER THE SUN TO RUIN A PERFECT LIGHTING SET UP. I STILL LOVED THE INTERACTION AND MULTILAYERED EDUCATION GOIN ON HERE, ALONG WITH THE YOUNGESTS THOUGHTS ALMOST IN A SPEECH BUBBLE ABOVE HER HEAD THEY ARE SO LOUD .H80A2448BELOW : I FOUND THIS CORNER OF THE KITCHEN REALLY HARD TO SHOOT IN FOR LIGHT, ALSO I WAS AT A BAD ANGLE FOR THE CLOCK, BUT REALLY LIKED THE ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN DAD AND DAUGHTER IN THIS ONE STILL. H80A2452BELOW : CUTTING VEGETABLES FROM THE FARM WITH DAD.
H80A2470BELOW : ONE OF THE THINGS I REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING DURING THESE PHOTOSHOOTS WAS HOW THE CHILDREN WERE TRUSTED WITH A LOT OF THINGS, THAT I DON’T THINK ORDINARILY CHILDREN WOULD BE. LEARNING TO CUT VEGETABLES SAFLEY AT A YOUNG AGE, CREATING FIRES SAFLEY USING FOREST SCHOOL KITS, WHITTLING WOOD WITH WHITTLING KNIVES. THEY ARE GRETA REAL LIFE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN.H80A2476
H80A2522BELOW : I STARTED SHOOTING PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE MUMS SPECIFICALLY RIGHT AT THE START OF THIS MODULE. I HAD BEEN ADVISED TO EXPERIMENT WITH PORTRAITURE AS WELL AS REPORTAGE AS FEEDBACK IN THE LAST MODULE, SO HAD BEEN MAKING A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TO DO THIS. THIS IMAGE OF ADELE WAS ONE OF THE MORE SUCCESSFUL OF THE PORTRAITS THAT I DID . THE LIGHTING AND COLOURS AND SHADOWS ARE ALL QUITE CAPTIVATING AND FLOW WELL TOGETHER, HARMONIOUSLY. H80A2551
OVERALL I THINK THIS SHOOT WENT REALLY REALLY WELL. THE POCKETS OF LIGHT FROM THE WINDOWS IN THE COTTAGE WERE BOTH BEAUTIFULLY MESMERISING, AND QUITE HARD TO WORK WITH AT TIMES, BUT WHEN IT ALL CAME TOGETHER, THE EDUCATION. THE LIGHT AND THE PUNCTUM IT CAME TOGETHER PERFECTLY.
